Thanks to Dennis Hollingsworth and the good people at the Tax Collectors Office for continuing to offer patriotic front-end plates to the community with all proceeds going to support elder services in St. Johns County.

A total of five different images are available with the newest plate depicting a waving American flag and displaying the slogan "Americans Helping Americans".

The cost of each plate is $10.00:$7.50 of that $10.00 is donated to the St. Johns County Council on Aging and the remaining $2.50 covers the cost of the plate.

"This program was begun by Dennis Hollingsworth a few years back as a way to support and give back to the elder residents in our community", explains Cathy Brown, Executive Director of the SJCCOA.

Plates may be purchased at the Council on Aging, 180 Marine St., at the DMV on Lewis Speedway or by mail when renewing your automobile tag.
