Yoga is an orchestrated series of stretching movements taught by experienced Yoga instructor Gita Bhatt-Carpenter. Focusing on the connection between the physical and emotional states of well-being, Yoga exercises are ideal for people of all ages, but can be especially beneficial for those in the
over 60 age bracket. Yoga classes are offered twice each week for 90 minute sessions or 60 minute introductory sessions.
New intermediate classes are scheduled for Tuesdays and Fridays from 1:00 - 2:30 pm,
include 16 sessions and begin soon!

Beginning & Intermediate Classes
Tai chi is a series of fluid movements based on a form of martial arts designed to improve health, circulation and balance. The Coastal Club offers Tai Chi classes at both the beginner and the intermediate levels. All classes are taught by Joanna Marks, using the "Yang" syle of Tai Chi.
Classes include 16 sessions on Tuesdays and Thursdays with beginner classes from 9:15 - 10:15 am and
intermediate classes from 8:15 - 9:15.

Nia classes incorporate the fluid movements of the eastern influenced tai chi and yoga disciplines with the more traditional and expressive western style dance plus the classic elegance of ballet
